2/24/2024 0 Comments World of warships Henry IV IFHE![]() I get that all this is mostly just testing and nothing may happen.īut what the dev blog says disturbs me, about changing current IFHE penetration form 30% to 20%. I'm confused, OP says one thing, quotes from facebook, quotes the dev blog, which says different things. Henri is now taking advantage of this loophole. I would say with guns greater or equal to 203 should have zero IFHE benefit. Right now, wg has forever been creating new problems for themselves down the line. If Zao cannot have her stealth firing, Henri shouldn't be able to do what she is doing. ![]() She is too fast and fires too big guns at too far a distance. Yes, I agree Henri needs a nerf but not through a game-wide mechanic change. Honestly, they really need to communicate better as to exactly what their aim is and compare before and after benefits/cons instead of blurting out "this is what is going to happen". If you are being machinegunned by an enemy, something is wrong with you or your team. Looking at that graphic, the only class that benefits from this IFHE change are -shock- BBs which seriously do not need anymore protection. To me IFHE is a very expensive skill that is a must have for a lot of ships. I am looking at you light cruisers (RN exempted) and destroyers. Now, the problem is that quite a number of ships NEED IFHE to be effective against higher tiers, otherwise their shells would just bounce. ![]() Basically, you take IFHE to get that little more oomph to cause non-fire damage against ships that you otherwise will get richochets, >203 really don't need IFHE but people are still glued to the fact that it works. There is a good writeup somewhere about what ships should take IFHE and on which IFHE is pointless (ie, zao, henri).
